Amazed

An excerpt from chapter 3.

“Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.” Isaiah 40:26

Seeing the multitude of stars God created requires complete darkness. Out in the middle of the ocean (or the middle of a desert for that matter) there is no light at night except for the moon and stars. The eye can see thousands upon thousands of stars, and God knows each star by name. How amazing our God is!

[An excerpt from Three Days at Sea by Delana H. Stewart.]

Since there are twenty-five chapters in my new book Three Days at Sea: Soul flotation when the waves are pulling you under, I decided to share a quote a day (one from each chapter) until Christmas. Hope you enjoy them! Come back tomorrow for the next one…
