The Soul of the Sea

sea, waves, ocean, water, undertowThe Weekly Photo Challenge is about the Sea. What does Sea mean to me?

To me, the sea is symbolic of our emotions.

The sea can be tumultuous, scary, wild, angry. It can also be calm, peaceful, joyful, relaxing.

The sea can be overwhelming and mimic a sense of drowning…of hopelessness.

When the sky clouds up over the sea, it can even appear sad.

The sea represents longing, watching, waiting…and it represents good news coming from afar.

What does the sea mean to you?

    • Thank you! I thought the photographer did an excellent job of capturing a photo for my book Three Days at Sea: Soul flotation when the waves are pulling you under.
      Blessings!
