The stories, poems, and devotions in Three Days at Sea are an outpouring of personally experiencing the presence and power of the Lord in my life during difficult seasons. In looking back at those times in my life, two verses often come to my mind:
“But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.” — Job 23:10 (NKJV)
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley,I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” — Psalm 23:4 (NIV)
